Monochromatic Cards

Today we’re featuring a few monochromatic cards. Monochromatic cards can be created quickly and easily when you’re using the same color tones.

SUPPLIES and INSTRUCTIONS: Stamped Puzzle Parts 30-114 with Versafine Deep Lagoon Ink onto Blue Lagoon 09-001, 09-002 & 09-003 Mix and Match cardstock and cut using Spellbinders Classic Zig Zag edgeability and added to the bottom of the card. Stamped the sentiment using the same ink just above zig zags using Wishes 30-103. Stamped Plimsole Pete 3109F onto white card with versa fine black ink and coloured with Dark Aquamarine inktense pencil. then mounted onto Blue Lagoon Mix and match circles and inverted circles cut using spellbinders dies.

SUPPLIES: Free Flight 30-117. The background stamp was stamped in tan onto white, butterflies were stamped in espresso then trimmed and mounted with foam tape. Greeting was also stamped in espresso.

    I chuckled over this – the aqua & brown are such a classy combination & so the post itself is a work of art! Love the differentness of these two projects. The butterflies in the second with the browns is striking with the ribbon accenting it. The first is great fun & so topical here in the UK where it seems to be raining constantly at present.

    Beautiful card. Love the color of the espresso card. That stamp set is very high on my “must have” list
