Accordian Folds by Kathy
July 5, 2012
Kathy Racoosin is here to share a pair of cards she created using accordian folds as a decorative element;
The accordion fold was embossed in clear on kraft paper, stamped and distressed. Using a bone folder and a scoring board, Kathy scored the stamped background. She cut slits on both sides to insert the fold into the card base. The flowers were stamped and distressed the same way using a Spellbinder flower die cut.
Kathy used a more simple accordion fold on her second card. All of the elements are paper scraps.
SUPPLIES: SRM Stickers, Flower Flourish #40-136, Wall Paper Print #40-134, Social Butterfly #30-116, Spellbinders Labels 25.

Clever and pretty!
Absolutely delightful & such an utterly useful technique beautifully finished by your insertion of the accordion ends into slits.
