With Gratitude – Pinterest Inspiration 4
There’s no shortage of times where we are thankful for both simple kindnesses and grand gestures extended to us, and as temperatures drop and the calendar pages fly (seriously – it’s NOVEMBER already!?), here in the States, we are especially thankful around Thanksgiving. With that in mind, our designers scoured Pinterest for inspiration with the theme of “gratitude” – would you like to see what they created?
Heather was inspired to create this beauty
after seeing this piece of art:
She used Thanks, thanks and Fantasy as well as Memento inks, markers, and clear embossing powder.
Cathy saw this color combination,
And made this lovely card, saying, “It has cool blue green shades that reflect the current cold spell of weather that we are experiencing, although I have to admit to not being entirely thankful for that, I would far rather have some warm sunshine!”
She used these supplies: Letter Background 1999L, Social Butterfly 30-116, Awakening 4237K, So Blessed 40-132, Madison Paper Pad 80-001 and Sea Breeze 08-001 Mix and Match Cardstock.
Karen saw this
and then masked, sponged over a mask from Mr. Huey with Distress inks then stamped the Hill Flowers in black and the sentiment. I also added scoring lines just to give it all a clean edge.
Stamps: Hill flowers 3938K Gratitude 30-105
Therese shared this one before she knew about the Pinterest challenge – I thought it fit in perfectly!

Background was colored in alcohol inks on glossy paper.
Stamps used: 3984K Inclinations, 40-074 Warm Wishes, & 30-103 Wishes
Alexandra used emboss resist to create this card with Flower Flourish:
Last, but certainly not least, we have a little peek to share from Jill:
Come back on Wednesday for another installment of PB&J to learn more about the technique used, and to see the full picture!

I’m definitely thankful for the friendship & inspiration I’ve found through Penny Black & though I’m working on other projects at present my Penny Blacks still beckon with their amazing variety.
Thank you to everyone.

You are so right… This is usually the time when we (in the States) really start to express our thankfulness. Not only with your site but so many others I am truly thankful for the time you give in teaching us different techniques and styles. Every project in this post is beautiful, however, I think the first one is my favorite. The tree stamp… Where can I order it?
Thank you and to all those helping you behind the scenes.
Hugs ‘N Blessings
