Hearts aplenty
December 13, 2012
All this week, we are sharing MORE lovely work created with the new Valentine release from Penny Black. Here are a couple of simple and sweet cards from designer Heather. Love the way she embossed the hearts then applied ink in different ways to make the stamped image pop!
Heather embossed the Daisy Heart in clear embossing powder, then brayered two shades of Memento ink over the embossing before adding daisy centres with a marker.

Here, she embossed the heart and sentiment in white on ivory cardstock before sponging with Memento Angel Pink and Desert Sand inks and adding some half pearls and a bow.

See you tomorrow with more Valentine inspiration!

Striking how the emboss resist technique gives such different effects yet still classy. Love the little bow on the second with the rounded corner.
