Lovey-dovey and Enjoy from Therese
For the next several days, we’ll be featuring projects created with the most recent Penny Black Valentine release – with just a little twist. Our designers will show you a “lovey-dovey, lovey-dovey, lovey-dovey all the time” project, and another project they’ve made for something else, like birthday or just because (not that those can’t be Lovey-Dovey, too!). Let’s see how versatile our new release can be. . .
Here is Penny Black Designer Therese Shaffer‘s take on lovey-dovey and another different-themed card using the same stamp. The stamp that she used on both cards was the background stamp, Bed of Roses (40-190).

Image: Lots of Love (4298J) which was colored with Prismacolor Pencils. Sentiment was from the clear set, Gratitude (30-105)
Rose images were from the Bed of Roses background stamp which I fussy cut. Both roses were colored with Prismacolor Pencils. Sentiment was from the clear set, Sweet Wishes (30-104)
Thanks!
Let’s dish. . . do you like critters and cutesy, or more elegant, feminine designs? We’d love to know!

Hi. Both cards are really lovely. Can’t believe the same stamp has been used on both. They look entirely different.

I like both! For example I adore both of those cards
I like them both, but I do gravitate more towards the cutesty/critter type cards !
I am loving cute!! And adorable … makes me smile. These cards are amazing .. like all the cards on this blog!!
I love both your cards Therese! I can’t say that I like one style over the other. With me it all depends on who I am making the card for and knowing the recipient and what will please them.
It depends on the recipient, but I think critters and cutesy is my favourite.
Critters and cutesy, please!! Mimi is my all time fave!!!
I prefer the critters.
Love both..But Critter and cutsie is what I prefer..
Both cards are wonderful! I find myself drawn to cutesy stamps when I buy them. I guess because the elegant ones kinda intimidate me.
I am really enjoying this series. I love seeing how the same stamps are used in different ways. These are both gorgeous cards. I really enjoy a wide variety or I get bored, so I like a little bit of everything to keep things interesting.
