The PB images are great, as ever, but I really, really love Jills technique videos – they are so clearly explained and help me so much to use things I already have more creatively.
Great video, I never knew the technique of laying water down on the white areas first and then moving to the coloured areas.

Thanks so much for your comment and for watching! If I have a particularly wet area I do dry it with my heat gun before moving on so I don’t smear it. You could let it air dry, too. Happy stamping!

Cute stamps and I loved the tutorial! I’ve been wanting to play with my colored pencils and this was just the push I needed. I have the water brushes but had not used them this way. I think my coloring will improve greatly from these tips.

I LOVE watching Jill color! I have not used the water color pencils, but I have some that were my kids. I have colored in the same manor with washable markers, so I think it would be fun. I just love the feel that water color gives, it’s sort of an artistic freedom. Permission to be fluid and out of the lines, maybe?

I’ve just started back using watercolor pencils again. This is certainly inspiration to do more.
You stole my heart with the Boston Jill! We spoke earlier when the first reveal came out with a Boston and I absolutely have to have this. I’ve had Bostons all my life and my present one is named “Martin.” His great grandfather was the Westminster Champion in 1999. I replay this over and over just to see you and your little Boston, to say nothing of your fabulous talent! So glad you picked this image to sare with us.
