PB Pinterest: Watercolor Wonder

June 4, 2013

We’ve been updating our Pinterest boards and they’re brimming with fresh inspiration!

Heather has created not one, but two, watercolor wonders today!  This first card, featuring 30-181 Lace Trims, is elegant and dreamy! She first stamped the lace image onto wet watercolor paper in two brown tones then, when the paper was a little drier, added the rose and some more lace stamping.

To create her next card, Heather stamped 40-234 Fluffy Passenger and then painted over the image with masking fluid so she could do colored washes for the sky and ground.  She then then removed the masking and added color to the image with markers, ink and water.

Terrific with such contrasting styles but both using watercolouring techniques. Absolutely love that first one – my colours definitely.
