Cards; Inside and Out

November 15, 2010

I have a special feature for you today. The Penny Black Designers were tasked with creating a card, decorated inside and out. I think you’ll love what they did! It adds such a special touch to continue your design to the inside of the card… I hope you feel inspired to add your own inside/out card creation to our Penny Circle Gallery! For details, instructions, or more photographs, click on the Designer’s image to be taken to their Blog.

Carole used “Star Dust” on the front and inside of her card for a richly vintage feel;

I stamped “Christmas Star” twice for my card as well. I trimmed the image for the front of the card and simply stamped and colored it in the corner of the inside of my card, leaving enough room for my personal greeting;

Kathy stamped her hedgehog image twice – once for the outside and again for the inside, and doctored on of the images to show him tumbling down the ski mountain. What a clever and unique pick-me-up card;

Nerina embossed the tree from our Transparent set “Winter Whites and Greens”, twice with “Star Dust” embossing powder for extra shine. The inside is just as soft and lovely as the outside;

Peet paper-pieced a beautiful die cut card using our adorable “Carolling Penguins”. Treating the inside of her card helps add stability to the entire piece;

Elizabeth created a Z-fold card with an interactive Mimi mailing her letter. So clever and cute! Check out Elizabeth’s Blog for the details…just click on the image;

Ashley created an adorable gift card holder using “Gift of Giving” for her son’s teachers. The gift card tucks behind her inside sentiment;

I have several holiday cards for you this week, you don’t want to miss a single day as I showcase amazing catalog work by Kathy Racoosin.
