July 22, 2011
by

It’s Cathy Andronicou’s day on the blog and she has a special treat for us — a tutorial video on creating a special Mimi the Mermaid card using Fantasy film, Copic Markers, alcohol inks, and acrylic paint. Enjoy!

Thank you for joining us this week as we celebrated Summer with our new stamp releases. Winners will be announced on Tuesday here at the Blog. Be sure to leave a comment on today’s post as well as we’re choosing daily winners to receive our special release of “Fun in the Sun”. We’re enjoying your Summer challenge entries in our Gallery — keep them coming! (See Monday’s post for details…) I’ll be announcing our challenge winner on Tuesday as well. Monday is the start of a new week of inspiration at the Penny Black Blog.  We have a fun challenge lined up, a pictorial, a PB&J video tutorial, and much more.  Have a stampy weekend!

Wow Kathy was a great video. I bought fantasy film about two years ago and still haven’t used it you have made me want to get it out and use it now. Your card design is fantastic it is so inventive it must have taken you ages to make but it is so worth it love Linda

This is brilliant & so informative – thank you so much. I have some Fantasy Film still languishing unopened in a cupboard & you answered my questions as they arose in my mind – it was like watching the video & having a conversation with you at the same time – incredible.
