Simple Stamping Day 2

September 6, 2011

Cathy Andronicou is here today with her simply stamped project. Cathy used Flourish Thank you 4175F and our large background Slapstick stamp, Delicate Pattern 40-047. Cathy divided her card front into thirds, stamped the background on the bottom two thirds and the sentiment on the top third. She wrapped ribbon where the thirds meet and tied it into a bow. She then mounted her stamped piece onto her card base;

Here’s another version using the same design and background stamp, along with the greeting, Special Time 4174H, Mix & Match Cardstock Rose Garden 14-001.

You can apply this formula to any sized card – what a quick and easy way to show off a background stamp! Join us all week long for more simple stamping ideas.

Congratulations goes to…Laura O’Donnell as our random winner for our ‘Insired’ challenge. Laura, please email me at with your choice of a Penny Black Transparent set of stamps. We’ll also provide you with an ample supply of Mix & Match Cardstock! Thank you for playing – be sure to scroll down to yesterday’s post for this week’s challenge details.

    The striped ribbon is delightful on the second card – brilliant example of how to vary the design of the first too. The pin adds a lovely touch in both cases.
