Stained Glass Card Art

October 5, 2011

We’re taking a look at our new collage stamps all week long. Elizabeth Allan created today’s vibrant, ‘stained glass’ card using “Eternal”;

Here’s how she did it! 1) Brilliance Pearlescent inks were randomly applied to white cardstock before stamping the image in black. 2) After trimming it was sprayed with GooseBumps Clear Texture Spray for a “glass” effect. 3) A second impression of the star was used to create the stamped sentiment circle. 4) Gold edgings done with Delicata Golden Glitz ink. 5) The base of the card was sprayed with Pewter Sheer Shimmer Spritz for added sparkle. 6) Dimensional foam was added between “stained glass” art and gold/black mat and dimensional foam between gold/black mat and card base.

We have a lot more for you this week, stick around!

    Very striking especially with the dimenional aspects of this & the way the matting highlights the colours of the background inking.
