Stamping with Brushstrokes with Elizabeth

January 18, 2012
by

Elizabeth Allan is here today to share a card using our new Brushstroke Stamp, “Rose Heart”. For a decal/sticker effect, the main image, after being colored and trimmed, was pounced with Frost VersaMark Watermark Ink and heat embossed with clear powder. The flowers were accented with glitter and the pleats were secured with glue. Elizabeth added hand-stitching for a visual element.

SUPPLIES: “Rose Heart“, “Love Assortment“, “Paisley Outline“, “Letter Background“, Penny Black Mix & Match Cardstock: Fern Green 05-002, Fuchsia Fantasies 13-001, 13-003.

Lovely card, Elizabeth! The Frost Versmark ink gives the Rose Heart such a sparkly finish. Paisley Outline is one of my (many!) favorite Penny Black stamps, and it looks great on your stitched pleats. Thanks for the tips on your Blog!

The pleated strip looks like a frill under a windowcill & I love the colours of those roses – stunningly beautiful.
