What’s Cooking?
February 16, 2012
One of our fun, new transparent sets is a collection of cooking cats, “What’s Cooking”. I used it to create a birthday card for my sister;
I cut strips of watercolor paper, stamped the images in a staggered fashion, then colored them with Faber Castell Big Brush Markers. I added a bit of distressing with Ranger “Old Paper” and mounted my images to Penny Black Mix & Match Cardstock using dimensional adhesive. The sentiment is from a brand new set of greetings, “Sweet Wishes“.
And…here’s the sketch! Feel free to right click to save to your computer.
Our new stamps will be available in our online store soon! Thanks for stopping by…

Adorable stamps and the layout of your card is fantastic!
I really like this idea of 3 sections and this set works so perfectly! I’m sure your sister will love the card. Very cute idea. Stamping Joys! 🙂 Donna
Such a fun card, Jenyfur! Like the three panels!
I love the way you staggered the stamped images & softened the panels with the Old Paper. The blue & kraft ocmbined with the Old Paper is really effective & I love the touches of pink on the cake & the brightness of the candles & the recipe book. Great fun.
