Happy Friday!  Here are a pair of monochromatic cards by Peet and Karen that I’m sure will inspire you the next time you want to work with blue.  Please join us all next week for a fun selection of brand new projects including back to school projects, celebrating the Olympics, and more!  Have a wonderful weekend…

by Peet Roeven;

SUPPLIES: Round and Round, Petal Party (leaves), Sweet Wishes (sentiment).

by Karen Dunbrook;

Karen stamped and embossed image in white then sponged on blue Distress Inks. She created the background effect by dropping water onto the ink after sponging. SUPPLIES: Awakening #4237K, Gratitude #30-105, Distress Inks, Spellbinders Die, white embossing powder.

    I love the use of the soft shades of aqua & green with the button flower centres in the first & the way the twine pulls the the white & aqua elements together in the second.
