A Layered Christmas Star

October 29, 2012

Penny Circle member Joy Taylor (joytaylor1975) shared this ABSOLUTELY, jaw-droppingly amazing text poinsettia in the Penny Circle gallery this weekend. Seriously gasp-out-loud lovely. She blogged about it (and a little about inspiration, too!) here on her blog, Less is More.  Stamp used: Christmas StarThanks for sharing your creation with us, Joy!

The pearl embellishments are spectacular on this & I love all the neutral tones that have gone into this. That stamp is one of my favourites & looks super paper pieced like this.

This is so lovely. The contrast of white embossing makes it delicate and lacy
