Alexandra’s Sunday Scrapbook #5 – Silent Night

November 3, 2012

Both are based on the same sketch with a special focus on “layering”. For this 1st page titled “Christmas 2011” I used the silent night stamp #30-135.

I used watercolor pencils to color the stamp and 3-D pop dots to adhere it to the page.

This is a close-up showing both pages. To see the second one and learn more about the making of both pages, please visit Alexandra’s blog:

See y’all tomorrow!

You sent me on a little journey to identify those watercolour pencils as I was struck by how smoothly you blended them out & how precise the detail. The Staedtler Aquarelles look very interesting indeed. I love the effect of the watercoloured image in place of a photo.
