Fresh Cut – and a chance to win!

March 4, 2013
How can you not have a big smile on your face when you have a beautiful bouquet of cut flowers on your table? The same feeling comes when you have a card that’s been lovingly put together from little pieces.
CHALLENGE: Join our designers and create something that focuses on fussy cutting, using punches and die cuts!

Therese Schaffer made a Spring Card using Garden Critters (30-152).  She ran a impression plate to create texture for the card panel and fussy cut the hedgie image. The letters were die cut and colored with ink spray. The “happy” is from the Salutations (30-014) clear set.

Peet Roeven is a master at paper piecing, fussy cutting, and this lovely card includes both along with die cuts!

Upload & share your work, and post a link here so we can take a peek and include you in a drawing for Garden Critters set of your own! (See our four new spring sets here!)

I’ve definitely fallen for those little birds – super example of Peet’s style too & I very much appreciate the way you have showcased two very different interpretations of the challenge set. Thanks for this.
