Spring has Sprung – and a chance to win

March 6, 2013
Butterflies emerge from cocoons, flowers from tight buds, chicks from eggs . . . there’s movement everywhere! Today, our designers share cards with some sort of moveable element.
Challenge: Join us and create a card with some sort of interactive element (pocket, slider, even a shaker card). Post a link here, and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win your own Lulu Spring. We’ll announce winners on Friday!

Here is a 3D project from Cathy Andronicou – she made a string egg for Lulu Spring that contains little chocolate eggs. You can shake it and the eggs won’t come out…how did she get them in there? Project was inspired by a pinterest image, and full details on her blog.

Elizabeth Allan made a sweet spring card with Nature’s Wishes (30-109) that has a removable magnet.

8521458168_796dde474f_bIsn’t is adorable? And just look . . .

8520346311_a1c368a437_bEven after the bitty magnet is removed, you have a beautiful card!

Now, go off and stamp something pretty! Post a link here, and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win your own Lulu Spring. We’ll announce winners on Friday!

The little magnet on Elizabeth’s card is such an intriguing idea & I love the way she rounded the two opposite corners plus the vibrant green ribbon echoing those leaves. Cathy’s idea just made me laugh as I came here after reading her blog post – what a trick to play on a chocolate addict.
