Spring is all about Renewal – last challenge and opportunity to win stamps!

March 7, 2013
As temperatures in some parts of the world rise, everything that was brown and dried up starts to go green, get all bright and happy, and look so very ALIVE!  Our challenge today is to take a winter-themed card, and redo it with spring colors and images. So, even if you’re stuck under several feet of snow and Spring still seems very far away, these cheerful colors are sure to bring your thoughts to warmer days ahead!
Today’s the final challenge and opportunity to win a NATURE’S WISHES set. Just share a winter-themed card, and a revamped, springy card. We’ll post winners of this challenge tomorrow (along with the others from previous days, too), so get to stamping as soon as you can! This one needs a quick turnaround! 🙂
Designer Therese Schaffer took this sweet and simple wintery card . . . .
swapped out the cute eskimo for Garden Critters (30-152), Background –  Sweetness (40-208) and the sentiment from To You (30-067) to make this bright colored confection:
Karen Dunbrook‘s cards always embody sweet simplicity, and this winter-turned-spring design is no different.  Amazing how swapping the image can make such a difference, even when using almost the same color palette!
Supplies: polka-dot sprig Product #4304H; eloquence Product #30-162
And last, but certainly not least, Jill Foster took this set of Les Petite Christmas cards
and used them as the basis for a new set featuring Garden Critters, Nature’s Wishes, 40-162 Crystal Pattern, 40-169 Diamond Pattern, 4310K Verdant, 30-155 Blooming Garden.

Are you inspired? Get stampy with us, and throw your card in for consideration! We can’t wait to see what you create! We’ll be back tomorrow with winners and a whole bunch of submissions to show off!

Sorry I’m not going to be able to join in with artwork – migraines have thwarted my execution of the ideas you’ve provided me with. It’s been a delightful series of posts & today’s challenge in particular is a very novel one. Thank you again for all the hard work that is put into keeping us stampers fed with ideas.

Love them all! I love the style, all different with such different themes, they all make you smile and I love on the first card that the little girl is right at the edge of the bottom of the card and not centred. Congratulations to all you have made spectacular cards.

Jill always inspires me and “sells” me stamps I ordinarily would look at twice. What a gem! Love PB&J!

Thanks for another informative video! Your cards are cute and beautifully colored. After seeing this video, I feel I need to watercolor something. I was going in a different direction for a bag tag for a friend’s birthday gift, but now I think it will have watercolors on it somewhere. Thanks for the inspiration!
