Saturday Extravaganza, Post 3

July 6, 2013

Are you ready for a special stamping extravaganza?  Join us all day for lots of clean and simple inspiration from our super talented guest designer Wida Miller!

Can you believe Wida’s used a holiday stamp on this lovely summertime card?  Such a fantastic use of 4273K Winter Berries in the background!

Wida’s also used 30-160 Friendship and 4308K Field of Poppies on her card.  And her tip?  Don’t be afraid to use a holiday stamp in a nonholiday way.

What are YOU stamping this weekend? Why not try some clean and simple stamping using Wida’s work as inspiration.  We’d love to see what you create. Upload your cards to our Penny Circle Flickr Gallery and/or our Facebook page.

Thanks so much to Wida for sharing her talents with us this Saturday!  It’s been an honor to feature her cards!  Oh, and if this is your first visit here today, be sure to scroll down for the complete extravaganza experience!

Like the soft colouring and what you did with the background.

The background stamping certainly works with the focal image – super illustration of how to make a seasonal stamp more versatile. This would work beautifully for the English Harvest Festival Celebrations.
