We’ve been taken over by… Penny!

January 3, 2014

Watch out Penny Black, some very talented gals have snuck in for a special week here on the blog. Yes, it’s a TAKEOVER!!

Hi Penny Black friends…..

We (the Stamp Squad) have taken over the blog this week (we are sneaky that way), and I would like to finish the week by wishing you all the best in 2014.

Using metallic silver and gold, I came up with this little cutie.

Christmas Reds and Greens was stamped and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Gold glass beads were added to just a couple of the leaves. The sentiment and the butterfly were stamped with Season’s Wishes and heat embossed with silver powder.  The butterfly was die cut with Flutters.

Gold metallic card stock was cut into a collage shape using this FREE digital die cut. (Now aren’t you glad you stopped by the Penny Black blog today?)  Vellum was attached to the bottom panel for a diffused view of the leaves. Onyx Liquid Pearls were scattered around as desired.

Wishing you all the crafty, card making, scrapping best in the coming year!

Hugs, Penny

A very interesting mixture of metallic finishes including the onyx of the liquid pearls & I love the diffused effect of the vellum.
