Adding texture and dimension make one layer cards hip and modern.  On this elegant card Wida used embossing paste through our stencil, 25-003 Verdant.  While the embossing paste was still wet, she sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and heat dried.

Simply divine! This technique would work with all of our new stencils… 25-001 Promenade, 25-003 Verdant, 25-002 Flower Dance, and 25-004 Sun Catcher.

Very effective with the texture & gold really popping against the magenta base card. The way the sentiment it nestled just in the curve of the flower stalks is brilliant.

Wida! That is really interesting!! I’m going to try it. I used emb. paste for the first time on my Valentine’s day projects and I was surprised that it was sort of flexible even after it dried. What a cool effect on your lovely card.
