alexandra’s Sunday scrapbooking – Red Star

September 13, 2014

Hello Friends! alexandra here with a Holiday card made with Distress Inks + Distress Markers and this gorgeous Slapstick/Cling…

I started by coloring directly onto the stamp with a red, a yellow and a green marker. I stamped the image on a watercolor paper card…

and then proceeded to blending the leaves and petals with a reservoir brush (a thin wet paint brush also works).

I used the Distress inks to add more intensity to the flower.

I added a sentiment in French using this method How to Print on a Tag

To gave the card an aged look, I also distressed the edges and sprayed some walnut ink.

Thank You!

I love the pixels on this stamp, it really gives it a Vintage feel, not to mention the design of the poinsettia. What a great transformation, when Alexandria added water to it! I love the versatility of this stamp.
