Collaboration with Inchie Arts: Day 1

November 17, 2014

This week we are thrilled to be collaborating with Inchie Arts featuring their awesome Art Squares! What are Art Squares, you ask? They are the perfect surface for stamping and coloring. Art Squares are made from the highest quality, artist grade, precision cut matboard. The material is unique because it behaves like watercolor paper, enabling papercrafters to use a variety of both wet and dry coloring mediums (including paints, inks, stains, markers, colored pencils, etc.) without surface deterioration. Check out all of the sizes and colors of Art Squares on the Inchie Arts website.

Cathy is stamping on a black 2” Art Square today, using the leaves from our transparent set, 30-251 Nature’s Gifts.

She’s layered bright embossing enamels and heat set them, creating a bold contrast against the black Art Square.

As a variation, the Art Square can be mounted to white cardstock for a clean and simple look.

Because Art Squares are strong enough to handle lots of mediums, Cathy also added a layer of Ice Resin, giving her featured design a glossy shine!

Download complete supplies and instructions HERE.

And lucky us… the generous folks at Inchie Arts are sponsoring a fab GIVEAWAY this week!  To enter, leave a comment here on our blog and also be sure to visit the Inchie Arts blog and leave a comment there, too.  And for a bonus entry? “Like” the Inchie Arts and Penny Black Facebook pages and leave a comment letting them know that you liked their page. TWO lucky winners will receive 4 boxes of Art Squares of their choosing and $25 worth of stamps from Penny Black. Giveaway closes 11/22/14 at 11:59 PM PST.
