Love and Friendship with Heather

January 14, 2015

This week on our blog you will find Love and Friendship themed projects by the Penny Black designers, each featuring products from our newest release. And look closely at the end of today’s post, you just might find some sneak peeks of even more new and exciting products, too!

Today Heather shares with us a one layer card which features a fun masking technique.

Heather simply cut our Creative Die, 51-100 Tree of Love, from masking paper, attached to her white cardstock, and applied inks using sponging and a waterbrush. She added a touch of stamping and then removed the masked to reveal a beautiful sillouette.

Download complete supplies and instructions HERE.

Are you ready for more CHA sneak peeks? (Read more about CHA on Monday’s post.) If you visited the Penny Black booth, you may have been lucky enough to create one of these gorgeous Make and Take projects designed by Elizabeth Allan! Look closely, you might spy new dies, stamps, and even patterned paper…

Great idea to use the die to create a mask! One layer, but so interesting. And I love the sneak peeks … can’t wait for the full reveal.

This is a beautiful card and I love the idea of using the die to create a stencil! Great technique!
