February 24, 2015

Clean and simple fun can be found HERE!

And now more super stenciling…

Join us as we explore products from our newest release, Bring on the Happy. Each week you’ll find a special designer showcase, videos, and card samples with complete supplies and instructions. This week we take a closer look at our newest stencils.

Yesterday’s technique showed how beautiful stenciled texture can add to your background and give your card an artsy appeal. Here’s a second card featuring this technique. Jill has used one of the borders included within stencil design 25-014 Oscillations.

Mmmmm… texture: fun for a card, canvas, or an art journal page.

Jill, once again you are a creative genius. Do you recommend one particular ‘spackle’ to use on stencils?

Thanks so much, Mary! I love Whipped Spackle by Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft as it is very light and airy and dries quickly. Have fun!

I have not done much with stencils so far…..but I like the look of the subtle backgrounds effect. Will try this.
