February 27, 2015

Join us as we explore products from our newest release, Bring on the Happy. Each week you’ll find a special designer showcase, videos, and card samples with complete supplies and instructions. This week we take a closer look at our newest stencils.

In our final stencil showcase, Jill is reaching for stencil design 25-015 Hypnotic.

Supplies: 25-015 Hypnotic, 30-288 Pretty Petals, 30-283 Snippets, 80-010 Coco Style, Neenah Solar White Cardstock, Tsukineko VersaFine Ink (Onyx Black) Ranger Archival Inks (Leaf Green, Forget-Me-Not, Dandelion, Red Geranium), Ink Blending Tool with Foam Pads, May Arts Twine, Self-Adhesive Pearl

Step 1: Ink background using ink blending tool and foam pads.

Step 2: Hold stencil in place and pounce ink on top.

Step 3: Stamp flowers onto background and on a separate piece of cardstock.

Step 4: Cut out flowers from white cardstock and ink.

Step 5: Adhere flowers to background.

Step 6: Embellish with twine, sentiment, and add to notecard.

And just for fun, here’s another sample featuring this inky technique.

Happy Friday! Don’t miss even more stamping fun…

I love the bold, clean look of these cards–almost graphic, and the lovely backgrounds. Thank you for the tutorial.
