SIMPLICITY Inspiration with Kay: Day 5

June 26, 2015

As the temps outside begin to rise, here on the blog we have also been heating things up with designer inspiration. Over the past several weeks our designers have brought you design ideas featuring their trademark styles and products from our new collection, Sunshine and Smiles. This week we welcome a special guest, Kay Miller! Kay is a Penny Black Simplicity Sister who also regularly shares her clean and simple card designs on our SIMPLICITY site.

Not only does Kay’s focal point image (4386H Sitting Pretty) look adorable on this card, but she’s created a lovely background by combining our stencil design, 25-017 Trailing Vines, with our Slapstick/Cling stamp, 40-282 Twirls.

Special thanks to Kay for sharing your unique designs this week on our blog. It’s been such a pleasure having you as a guest!

And remember, TGIF!

Kay is such a talented card designer. She creates cards that are deceptively CAS in design, but pack a definite punch in the wow factor! This card is delightful. The colors are vibrant and cheerful. The use of the stencils and the adorable Mimi is spot on. One big happy smile here!
