Hello, I’m Yoshie Nakagaki, aka Torico in the cardmaking world, from Japan. When I started cardmaking in 2009, I couldn’t get much information about it because it was not so popular in Japan. So I decided to jump into the English blogging world. I’ve learned so many techniques, have found fabulous stamps and supplies, and have met many many fantastic international friends through the cardmaking world. I spend most of my free time in my craft room. I even think that I can’t live without stamps and inks! From elegant & chic to cute & whimsical, to clean & simple, I like making cards in various styles. But I prefer clean style to many layers. I’m really looking forward to sharing my cards with you featuring fabulous Penny Black products and some of my favorite techniques! The most favorite part of Penny Black for me is that there are various types of stamps to choose from. I especially love the stamps featuring cute little critters!

Torico begins the week with an absolutely stunning and elegant card featuring our Slapstick/Cling stamp, 40-352 Festive Florals, and Creative Die sentiment, 51-058 Joyous Wishes!

Her beautiful floral embellishment was created by stamping and embossing her image in gold and then painting with watercolors.

Hi Torico, I am sorry to say I am not familiar with your name or your work. After seeing this outstanding Christmas card, that is about to change. I’m looking forward to the rest of the week, and seeing what you do with the Penny Black products. Thank you for sharing your talents.

It is a GORGEOUS card Torico! Love how you colored and placed the stamp. The fussy cutting is perfect as well. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your work!!
