New Penny Black Designer!

We have an exciting announcement this today… we are pleased to announce a new addition to the Penny Black Design Team, Micheline “Mimi” Jourdain! Micheline creates beautiful stamped watercolor scenes, painted snowscapes, and amazing Creative Die creations.

Hello everyone. I am Micheline Jourdain, AKA Mimi A La Carte, from L’Épiphanie, Québec.   I live with my husband and ‘Ti-Minou’ the cat.  My daughter and 2 grand-daughters live next door. I used to have a boutique in Montréal and Penny Black was taking a great deal of space in the boutique.  All my clientele was addicted to those beautiful stamps.  Each time I would get a shipment from PB, the girls would applaud the UPS delivery man and then it was like Christmas all over again. Hoping that my cards will motivate everyone to use PB stamps, they are so gorgeous!

Well, Mimi, we are honored to have you sharing your creativity with our Penny Black designs and are sure you will leave us all inspired! Speaking of inspired, this week we will be sharing a sampling of Micheline’s card making style. Let’s begin with this beautiful floral design.
