Celebrate SIMPLICITY with Winter Fun

September 10, 2015

Did you know that Penny Black has a special site devoted to clean and simple stamping? New card ideas are posted every Tuesday and Thursday along with complete supplies and instructions. You can view our SIMPLICITY site by clicking HERE. And join us this week as we review some of the fun that’s been happening over there.

If you are mass-producing your holiday cards, then SIMPLE designs are a great option. Simplicity Sister, Jean, shows us that one die and one stamped image are all you need to create a “wow” card. Silver embossing makes this extra elegant.

Kay demonstrates that Creative Dies and basic background inking are the perfect ingredients for a light and fresh holiday design.

We’d love to see how you interpret these design ideas on YOUR next creation, whether it be a holiday card using products from our newest collection, Especially for You 2015, or using any of your favorite Penny Black products. Upload your projects to our Penny Circle Flickr Gallery and/or our Facebook page and join in the community of sharing, fun, and inspiration!

Speaking of joining in the fun… our designer, Elizabeth Allan, is joining in, sharing 4 new SIMPLE Christmas cards this week. These designs are happy, fun, and great for mass-producing!

Oh, and don’t forget, it’s Thursday so that means…

So creative–love them all! Elizabeth always amazes me with the little extras that put her cards into a whole other category–like the tiny aqua strip & the red circle under the panel & the embossed edge at the bottom–fabulous card!

I’ve been working on doing more detailed cards lately, but my “go to” style is definitely clean and crisp….love your cards.
