Stamping Plus a Touch of Pattern: Day 2

Slapstick/Cling stamp, 40-412 Berry Bevy, is sprouting up on Elizabeth’s next creation.

How-To: To create this classic card, Elizabeth first stamped her branches, 40-412 Berry Bevy, using teal ink.  To add extra dimension to her image without bulk, she outlined the branches using a very pale grey marker.  She added color to the berries, being sure to leave white highlights, a simple coloring touch that adds so much to the finished card.  Finally, Elizabeth’s “touch of pattern” was added at the bottom of her card using our designer paper pad, 80-011 Beau Jardins.  This “touch of pattern” is also a great touch of color, tying into the bright red berries.

The designer paper added to this card does brighten it but what I admire the most is the combination of teal and gray ink for the stamped branches! Great job Elizabeth.

This is so interesting with the stamped background. I thought the berries were pearls that you had colored but are amazing. So clever. 😊
