Spotlight on Snowy Delights

October 2, 2015

Birgit Edblom’s unique stamping and die-cutting always leaves us inspired. So this week we welcome her to the blog as she spotlights several products from our new release, Especially for You 2015!

We end this week of fabulous cards by Birgit with a sweet and snowy card featuring our transparent set, 30-317 Deck the Halls.

To create this card, Birgit first designed her green background by inking white cardstock with Distress Inks. She then layered our Creative Die, 51-161 Into the Woods, onto the inked portion of her background. (Instant snowy forest!) Her critter image was colored, and before cutting it out, she drew a line for the ground. Using the critter and the hand drawn line as a guide, Birgit then cut out out her image and adhered it to her background panel. She embellished her card using liquid pearls.

BBBbbrrrr! If you love snowy delights, you may also love these stamps, too: 30-314 Artic Antics, 40-419 Frosty’s Wish, and 30-313 Twinke & Wish.

But WAIT… the inspiration with Birgit isn’t over! Did you know that every Friday we feature Birgit’s beautiful cardmaking on our Facebook page? Here’s a tiny peek at what you will find there today!
