This beautiful feathered friend (40-427 Pretty Perch) is enjoying the sparkling snowflakes on today’s card by Peet.

40-427

peet

Peet stamped and heat embossed 40-427 Pretty Perch in black on watercolor paper. She then painted it using Derwent Inktense pencils.

Next she fussy-cut the image.

And to create that beautiful snow, she added Glossy Accents and sprinkled it with Twinklets Diamond Dust.

She layered her scene with our Creative Dies 51-177 Snow Time and 51-057 Polaroid.

What a beautiful card. I love the coloring – wondering if the pencil coloring is blended with water or not on this card? The placement of the elements finish off the card beautifully.

A great idea to heat emboss instead of stamping! Love the watercolours and thanks for the snow idea with glossy accents! I have to try your ideas today! Now I need that stamp too!
