alexandra’s Sunday scrapbooking – Faux Toile de Jouy

January 3, 2016
Hello dear Friends! Welcome to another edition of scrapbooking with Penny Black products. This week-end, I’m using the slapstick/cling stamp a bed of roses #40-190 to create a “faux toile de Jouy” background. The toile de Jouy is a type of calico fabric invented in France in the 18th century. It is two-toned and usually represents a pastoral or landscape scene with rich florals.
I hope you’ll join me over at art scrap & more. Thank You and Happy New Year!
