Dad’s Garden

May 23, 2016

With Father’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about masculine cards. Even if you aren’t making a card for dad, these stamps, dies, and card ideas are great for any special man in your life—grandpa, uncle, brother, friend… well you get the idea! Just change the sentiments and you will have birthday card ideas, too.

Do all masculine cards need to be dark colors and manly images? No! Peet’s card is personalized for her dad that loves his garden. She’s used our Slapstick/Cling stamp, 40-439 Good Neighbors.

Peet stamped her design on watercolor paper and painted it with watercolor pencils. The dimension is beautiful. And her dad will surely LOVE this garden-themed creation.

I love the card and just got the stamp in the mail. What size is the paper you are working with? Thank you.

What dies are you using to do the cutting? I have the stamps and I thought I had the right dies but mine are too small, love the card.
