“Artistic Endeavors” Teaser #2
With our newest collection we invite you to take a journey… let’s call it an Artistic Endeavor. Along this journey you will find a special collection of stamps perfectly suited for not only cardmaking, but also mixed media techniques and art journaling. You’ll also spot some lucious florals and a touch of summer fun with cute critters and characters. And it wouldn’t be an artsy endeavor without a few new Creative Dies, too. Love, love the new release, but that is not something new as I love all of the Penny Black stamps and dies, just wish I could afford all of them. The designers have a wonderful job of showcasing the new designs and the work is beautiful, I really like the HYDRANGEAS!

How do I find out how the “you are special” card was nade?

Hi Judy! The “You are so Special” card was created by first stamping ‘Flowerets’ with VersaMark ink, sprinkling with white embossing powder, and applying heat to set. The background was then inked with Distress Inks (Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive, Wild Honey, Vintage PHoto) using an ink blending tool and a foam pad. Then ‘Verdure’ was stamped using VersaFine Ink (Olympia Green). ‘Flowerets was stamped again onto white cardstock and heat embossed with white powder. The flowers were colored with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink using an ink blending tool and a foam pad. The flowers were then fussy cut and adhered onto the card using dimensional adhesive. The base of the card was inked with Worn Lipstick and Vintage Photo ink and then the texture was stamped using Vintage Photo ink. Hope this helps– happy stamping! 🙂
