And now how about some Fun Friday festivities!

Over the next couple of months, several of our Fun Fridays will have a clean and simple twist as we feature the elegant stamping of Patti Kehl.

Patti has for us duo of clean and simple fun. Both cards today feature the use of kraft cardstock in unique ways. For her first card, Patti used our Creative Die, 51-265 Woodland Scene. She cut her background layer from kraft cardstock and cut the top layer from white cardstock. What a clever way to easily create a dimensional snowy scene!

Next, Patti used a kraft card base, scored around the outside. The natural colors of the kraft cardstock pair perfectly with the homespun stamped image, our Slapstick/Cling stamp, 40-490 Pine Burst.

We’re ready to grab our favorite dies, stamps, and kraft cardstock… how about YOU?

I love the simplicity of these cards. The woodland die cut can also be used for a guy card for any occasion throughout the year. I am also seeing a use for the Rejoice die cut on a baby card, or a wedding card. I am also really like the stamp used on the first card too.

I especially like the woodland scene card. I hadn’t considered putting a small scene on a card and then spotlighting the sentiment that way. Very cool look. Well done.

the hardest decision is which ones to buy for my Christmas cards…

  30. October 16, 2016 5:36 pm

Patti I love your cards. Especially the one with the deer and the sentiment about a warm home. We all want that around the holidays. i love the contract color on the back layer. Really adds a pop to the card. Great job.
