Our Creative Die, 51-279 Berries and Leaves, make the perfect perch for the owl from our transparent set, 30-386 Wintertime Cheer.

To create the sky on her card, Birgit inked linen cardstock (Paper Accent) with Distress Ink using an ink blending tool and a foam pad.  She mounted this to her notecard and added a “frame” with the stamped sentiment (30-387 Festive Snippets).  Birgit painted the berries and leaves with watercolors and adhered it to the card with portions extending beyond the frame. She stamped the owl, branch, and stocking onto white cardstock.  She then fussy-cut these images and colored them with Distress Inks. She embellished the hat and scarf with the Snow Writer by DecoArt for extra dimension.

Love today’s cards, great inspiration. I especially like that you used that little owl because when I look at that set it’s not one that jumps out at me. Thanks for the boost to try more with one stamp set
