Today Micheline “Mimi” is inking up our new brushstroke stamp, 40-536 First Waltz.

We love her bold blooms in red!

Give it a try…

Micheline “Mimi’s” trademark technique for working with brushstroke stamps is to ink the stamp with Distress Inks and Stains, mist with water, and then stamp onto watercolor paper. She then goes back and spreads the colors using a paintbrush and water. She adds additional color and definition from a palette if needed. (Full supplies and instructions linked below.)

And the perfect addition to Mimi’s springtime scene is our new sentiment set, 30-419 Happy Wishes.

These elegant fonts and designs complement all of the new brushstroke stamps and work well for so many occasions.

Thank you for the project guide. I used this stamp yesterday but my technique left a lot to be desired. Now I have some guidance to do this beautiful stamp justice. Thanks Mimi. Merci.
