Our brand new collection, CELEBRATE, is now available in our online store. This week we’re celebrating with the one-of-a-kind Birgit Edblom as she features our new stamps and dies on her beautiful cards.

Today’s cards by Birgit are all about fun and… fur! To begin, she’s designing with our Creative Die, 51-347 Fancy Cat.

Tips/Techniques: Inside of die cut window made using a simple rectangular die, add two elements: paper which has been crimped with the Uchida Corru-gator Paper Crimper 8 1/2 in. Straight and paper which has been inked with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. Hand-trim “curtain” from pattern paper, layer onto hand-trimmed kraft cardstock, stamp with sentiment (30-423 Banner Sentiments), and embellish with twine. Add die cut cat (51-347 Fancy Cat), cut from black cardstock and crimped with the Uchida Corru-gator Paper Crimper 8 1/2 in. Straight.

Next, she combined her feline friend with the whimsical florals in our transparent set, 30-421 Flower Medley.

Tips/Techniques: Stamp flowers (30-421 Flower Medley) onto watercolor paper using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and paint with watercolors. Layer simple oval die cut frame over flowers. Add die cut cat (51-347 Fancy Cat), cut from black cardstock and crimped with the Uchida Corru-gator Paper Crimper 8 1/2 in. Straight. Stamp sentiment onto banner (30-423 Banner Sentiments), fold for extra dimension, and adhere to card.

And the furry fun isn’t just for cat lovers, don’t miss Birgit’s tag design featuring both 51-354 Gift Tag and 30-427 Birthday Bears.

Tips/Techniques: Die cut tag and rectangular center panel (51-354 Gift Tag) from smooth white cardstock. Ink rectangular background panel with Distress Inks using an ink blending tool and a foam pad. Adhere bamboo die (51-317 Bamboo Foliage) to rectangular panel, trimming excess from the edges. Use watercolors to paint die cut flowers (51-354 Gift Tag) and embellish the centers with Liquid Pearls. Stamp bear (30-427 Birthday Bears) with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and paint bear with watercolors. Cut and adhere to tag. Stamp sentiment (30-427 Birthday Bears) onto tag.

Both of your cards are adorable, they show a lot of thought and imagination, also the tag.
I’ve really enjoyed your designing this week. Thank you so much. Carol

Both cards and the tag are such an inspiration! Love the uniqueness of all three. And while I am not a cat owner, I do love that black cat!

As a cat lover, I usually want every cat die I see, but I don’t think I’ll be tempted by cats with no legs. A cat’s amazing legs and its ability to jump and land on its amazing feet are part of what makes a cat a cat. These just look stupid. I wish I could like these new cat dies, but not this design.

These are all so cute and creative Birgit. I especially like the tag (merely because I am a tag fanatic. LOL), however, the cute cat cards are especially clever with the addition of the crimping. Very well done!

This means YOU, personally, really should weight your words SERIOUSLY j s s, and I strongly advice you to delete this written defamation s a w d of both characters and a huge group of people who do not take slander and character assassination like this easily y u l i x. I do not know which organization you have got to back you up, but if you do not care about lawsuits in the multi-million dollar range, fine, just keep on what you are doing t n i j w. If you DO care about spending x-amounts of money to try and defend this CLEARLY written libel, then take my DELETE-advice. Your “Post” is now officially taken both copies and screen-shots of and digitally stored for later use and evidence. This is just a warning. We are antifa, we do not forget. tomas.eien@gmail.com
