Layered Brushstroke Stamping

November 1, 2017

Thank you for joining us here on our blog. Scroll down for card ideas, supplies, and instructions with our designers and crafty friends. This week Birgit Edblom brings us designs with her unique style. You can also view our two newest collections by clicking the following links: Peaceful Winter and Be Merry.

The stars of the show on today’s card by Birgit are our Slapstick/Cling stamp, 40-582 Graceful Whisper, and the sentiment from our transparent set, 30-453 Love & Peace.

Birgit has added extra dimension and depth to her one layer design by double stamping the artistic branch Graceful Whisper.

Design Details: Birgit first stamped her branch with dark green Distress Ink onto Saunders Waterford High White HP watercolor paper. She then painted her background with Daniel Smith watercolors, allowing some of the stamped image to bleed into the background. Once complete dry, she restamped the branch, slightly offset, with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white powder. Finally, she stamped her sentiment with green Distress Ink. Splatters of watered down white acrylic paint were added to create the look of snow.

Birgit does amazing things with a simple image. And how perfectly she coordinates the sentiment.

Do you have a video to show me how to ink the Chinese Lantern stamp? I have had very little luck getting it to look nice. Thinking it was a bad buy…

This means YOU, personally, really should weight your words SERIOUSLY p h y, and I strongly advice you to delete this written defamation f d i n of both characters and a huge group of people who do not take slander and character assassination like this easily i x t x e. I do not know which organization you have got to back you up, but if you do not care about lawsuits in the multi-million dollar range, fine, just keep on what you are doing t e v y s. If you DO care about spending x-amounts of money to try and defend this CLEARLY written libel, then take my DELETE-advice. Your “Post” is now officially taken both copies and screen-shots of and digitally stored for later use and evidence. This is just a warning. We are antifa, we do not forget.
