Introducing Slapstick/Cling Stamp 40-652 Winter Lookout

Design details: Stamp image onto Canson 140 Lb. Cold-Press Watercolor Paper using Archival Ink (Acorn) using a stamp positioning tool (MISTI) in order to stamp repeatedly and capture all of the stamped detail onto the textured watercolor paper. Paint with Distress Ink Reinkers used as watercolors. Once dry, paint light layer of white Gesso onto areas of the scene to create the look of frost/snow. Stamp pine branches at the bottom of image using Memento Ink (Northern Pine). Add snowflakes to sky using a white gel pen. Sentiment stamped with Ranger Archival Ink (Potting Soil) onto a hand trimmed tag. Embellish tag with twine.

Design details: Die cut scroll from watercolor paper and paint with Distress Ink Reinkers used as watercolors (Chipped Sapphire, Broken China). Once dry, add inking around top and bottom using an ink blending tool and foam pad with Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs). Masking off portions of scroll using post-it notes, stamp leaves using Archival Ink (Sky Blue). Use a stamp positioning tool (MISTI) to allow multiple impressions to darken the color. Stamp sentiment with Ranger Archival Ink (Watering Can). Stamp bird onto white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and color with Copic markers. Fussy cut image and layer onto background.
