Warmest Wishes for the Winter

November 6, 2018

Over the next several weeks, here on our blog, Facebook page, Instagram, and YouTube channel you’ll find loads of inspiration from our designers and artsy friends as they feature the stamps and dies from our newest collection. All new products are now available in our online store!

Peet Roeven is back with us today and her card design brings new meaning to the phrase artful elegance!

Peet created this beautiful design using stamps from our transparent set, 30-497 Joyful Holiday.

She first stamped the floral image onto all four corners of her square panel.

She also stamped it a couple of extra times so she could fussy cut and layer those flowers onto her main panel for extra depth and dimension.

She cut out the center portion of her card giving the look of a beautifully adorned frame.

Her sentiment from our transparent stamp, 30-501 Joy & Merriment, was stamped with black ink onto the center of her design.

All of the elements were adhered together.

Finally, Peet embellished her card with sequins and self-adhesive pearls.

Before you go, don’t miss this week’s card on our SIMPLICITY site…

I saw this card on IG and had to come over to the Penny Black Blog and leave some card love here too. Peet has a unique style that I love and recognize right away. Her design today shows how versatile the Joyful Holiday set is. Lot’s of stamps and designs in that set just waiting to be created. Beautiful card and one of my favorites this year.
