Winter Berry Branch Four Ways

November 15, 2018

Over the next several weeks, here on our blog, Facebook page, Instagram, and YouTube channel you’ll find loads of inspiration from our designers and artsy friends as they feature the stamps and dies from our newest collection. All new products are now available in our online store!

Today’s cards by Birgit Edblomdemonstrate the versatility of our Creative Die, 51-480 Winter Berry Branch.

Her first card puts this beautiful branch in the spotlight.

Design details for card above: Paint the die cut with Daniel Smith watercolors.  Add to linen texture cardstock from Paper Accent which is inked with Distress Inks using an ink blending tool and foam pads. Add Glossy Accents to the berries. Stamp sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Birgit’s next card uses the Winter Berry Branch as an embellishment to a simple stamped scene.  Don’t you love the way she’s kept her color scheme neutral with just a pop of red on the berries?

Design details for card above: Paint die cut and circular element with Daniel Smith watercolors onto Waterford High White watercolor paper. Stamp the trees and sentiment with Ground Espresso Distress Ink. Embellish with twine.

On her third card, Birgit has combined theWinter Berry Branch with our cling stamp, 40-660 Lantern, and the bow from our Creative Die, 51-470 Cut Out Wreath.

Design details for card above: Stamp the image onto linen texture cardstock from Paper Accent using Black Soot Distress Ink and paint it with Daniel Smith watercolors.  Splatter with white acrylic paint. Paint the die cuts and glue to the lantern. Stamp sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

And for her fourth card, she has combined it with a stamped and die cut scene featuring 40-634 Snow Forest and 51-460 Holiday Hello.
