Feathered Friends

November 27, 2018

Over the next several weeks, here on our blog, Facebook page, Instagram, and YouTube channel you’ll find loads of inspiration from our designers and artsy friends as they feature the stamps and dies from our newest collection. All new products are now available in our online store!

Virginia Lu is back today and she’s brought with her a couple of feathered friends.

Virginia’s colorful card features our Creative Die, 51-482 Birds On Wreath.

She enhanced her design by stamping our cling stamp, 40-470 Script, onto her cardbase.

Her charming color scheme is complemented by her happy sentiment choice from our transparent set, 30-498 Peaceful Season.

Tips and details from Virginia: The “Birds on a Wreath” die was lightly sponged and colored with Distress Oxide. I saved the negative part of the die and temporarily adhered it to card stock. I then stamped one of my favorite Penny Black Stamp “Script” over it. This card may be flat, but it is full of interest and layers!

Before you go, don’t miss this week’s card on our SIMPLICITY site…
