Fantastic and Flourishing Tree

November 28, 2018

Over the next several weeks, here on our blog, Facebook page, Instagram, and YouTube channel you’ll find loads of inspiration from our designers and artsy friends as they feature the stamps and dies from our newest collection. All new products are now available in our online store!

Beautiful inking and elegant stamping… it must be time for another card from Virginia Lu.

The star of the show on today’s card from Virginia is our cling stamp, 40-639 Flourishing Tree.

And the tree-shaped sentiment from our transparent set, 30-498 Peaceful Season, is a great choice for layering on top of any holiday tree design.

As an extra detail and finishing touch, Virginia dry embossed the design from our Creative Die set, 51-416 Stitched Stackers.

Tips and details from Virginia: One layer is perfect for mailing. Do plan ahead when you think of your design and test it out until you are happy with it. Don’t forget to use dies (such as Stitched Stackers) for dry-embossing. It is also fun to combine various stamp sets to create a unique design of your own. Look for stamps that are similar in scales and let your creativity flow!  I stamped the Flourishing Tree first and then I stamped and clear-embossed the sentiment. For the colorful background, I applied Distress Ink to the tree with a piece of paper (for masking). For the dotted details, I used Ranger Liquid Pearls.
