More Timeless Inspiration with Birgit

Birgit Edblom is back again this week with even more inspiration featuring the newest stamps and dies from our Timeless collection.

Her first card features a combination of stamping and die cutting creating a simply beautiful floral design.

Design details for the card above: Stamp 40-688 Soft Spoken with using Versafine Onyx Black ink onto Waterford High White watercolor paper and paint with Daniel Smith watercolors. Fussy cut the image. Die cut 51-499 Diamond Cut and glue it to a watercolor background. Adhere flower and add some drops of yellow Liquid Pearls. Stamp half of the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink and the other part with purple Distress ink onto a paper and cut it out. Place it on 3D foam onto the card. Add some purple twine.

Birgit’s next cards show two fun and feathery variations featuring our cling stamp, 40-686 Just Looking.

Design details for the card above: Stamp 40-686 Just Looking with Distress Ink Hickory Smoke onto Waterford High White watercolor paper. Paint with Daniel Smith watercolors and cut it out. Die cut 51-515 Butterfly & Leaves twice and paint with watercolor. Stamp the flowers 30-559 Delicate Beauty with Versafine Onyx Black ink and paint them with watercolors and cut them out. Add some small drops of yellow Liquid Pearls in the middle of the flowers. Arrange the pieces on a circle painted with watercolors. Place it onto the die cut 51-422 Stitched Square & Circles. Stamp the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Design details for the card above: Stamp 40-686 Just Looking with Distress ink Hickory Smoke onto Waterford High White watercolor paper. Paint with Daniel Smith watercolors and cut it out. Create a background with Daniel Smith watercolors and stamp the leaves with Versafine Onyx Black ink and paint them. Place the bird on 3D foam. Add a thin die cut frame.

    Hi, Thanks!I love the Bird cards, especially the first one (round circle). But I love both.The Floral card, to my eyes, the flower is to large, too long a stem, to overpowering. But that is me.You do good work though. I hope you do not mind my critique.Regina
