WCMD Celebration Day 7: Fairy Fun Photo Tutorial

October 7, 2019

Did you know that World Card Making Day is coming up on October 5th? Well, why limit the fun to just one week? We are celebrating, along with the fab folks at Scrapbook.com, from October 1st through the 7th with tutorials, videos, and top tips here on our blog. Oh, and did we mention GIVEAWAYS??? Don’t miss your chance to win Penny Black stamps and dies at the end of this post!

Today’s card and photo tutorial from Peet Roeven is so fairy fun!

To begin, Peet stamped this cutie from our miniature transparent stamp set, 30-595 Tiny Acorn, onto watercolor paper and colored it with watercolor pencils. She blended her coloring with a waterbrush and added a magical layer of Stickles glitter glue to the wings and ‘hat.’

Her background layer features our designer paper pad, 80-017 Festive & Frosty.

For extra visual interest, Peet also die cut a circle from our Creative Die set, 51-551 Stitched Circles.

Peet then layered all elements together, using foam tape for extra dimension.

Wonderful card with great coloring by the artist.
Question: is this a spinning card? Does the Littlr Acorn spin around the circles?
