A Treat Box by Elizabeth Allan
Elizabeth Allan loves to create her own handmade boxes to use for treats and small gifts. She has an adorable ‘tweet’ box for us today. Elizabeth stamped her bird (“Jolly Friends” 30-058) and colored him with Copic Markers. She added glitter and a mini pompom to his hat. She used her circle punch to create an opening for an acetate window.
The greeting on the inside flap of Elizabeth’s handmade box, from this Transparent Set, “Giving and Receiving“, is also colored with Copic Markers. It’s not only a decorative sentiment, it hides the ribbon ends.
You can head over to Elizabeth’s Blog for the printable template to create your own treat box. If you create your own box using Penny Black stamps, be sure to load it into our Gallery for us all to enjoy. We’ll be back all next week for TECHNIQUE WEEK! Big posts, loads of instructions, beautiful projects — we’ve got it all for you. Have a wonderful weekend! Don’t forget to work on your Octoberfest entry!
Psst…keep an eye on our Facebook Page!
